Day Four (Last Day)
Thank you to everyone that camp to the DKMS Robotics Summer Camp. I can truly say that everyone involved (including the adults) learned a lot! I think that we are one step closer to being prepared for the up coming FIRST Robotics season.
**If you have not yet, make sure that you sign up for our Newsletter. The Newsletter will come out at the end of every month (the first one will be published this upcoming week!) and will recap all of the different things the team worked on as well as any information for future plans.**
This weekend, Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th, the Grand Rapids Public Museum and GVSU will be hosting a Mini Maker Faire. This will allow students who have an interest in seeing new technologies being developed as well as getting some hands on experience. This is a great opportunity!
What is Mini Maker Faire?
Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects.
We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.
Glimpse the future and get inspired! -GRPM
Homework for campers coming next week: If your kids are so inclined have them learn about App Inventor.
We had a great first day!
